New Insects Added to Agrisure Viptera® Control Chart

The Agrisure Viptera® trait offers unsurpassed control of a broad spectrum of lepidopteran corn pests including corn earworm, black cutworm, fall armyworm and Western bean cutworm. More insects, such as true armyworm, have been added to the label. The 4 and 3 star ratings of control of true armyworm (TAW), dingy cutworm (DCW), and corn stalk borer (CSB) offers clear rating advantage verses competitors within the Burrus footprint.

The subsequent reduction in insect feeding lessens the occurrence of damaging mycotoxins, including aflatoxins, for improved grain quality. The Agrisure Viptera® trait controls more insects, which can lead to more yield. The Agrisure Viptera trait® is available from Burrus/Hughes in the following trait stacks:
Catalyst 4685 3111 and Catalyst 7893 3111
