A Week of Burrus/Hughes Agronomic Roundtable Discussions

During the past week, several Burrus/Hughes Agronomic Roundtable discussions were held in Northeast Illinois and Southeast Wisconsin at the following locations: 



Feb 16th, Pizza Ranch in Elkhorn, WI

Feb 17th, Iron Horse in Sharon, WI

Feb 18th, Joes in Marengo, IL

Feb 19th, Public House in Woodstock, IL

and a future Burrus/Hughes Agronomic Roundtable discussion will be held at the following location:

March 1st, Old Settlers Bowling Alley in Union Grove, WI


These small Agronomic group sessions were held so that Burrus/Hughes customers could discuss current agronomic issues as well as ask agronomic questions.  Some of the hot topics were: consolidation of the agriculture industry, growers use of insect traits or soil insecticide in corn and the future of rootworm management, weed resistance, future herbicide traits in soybeans, soybean diseases such as white mold and stem canker.
